Grand master Vishwanathan Anand who is best ever chess player that India has produced and he has been famously known as “madras tiger” was born on December 11^th 1969 in Tamil Nadu. But he currently lives in Spain with his wife Aruna and children. His hobbies are swimming, listening music, reading books and salsa. Grand master has been crowned three times the World championship in the year 2000, 2007 and 2008. Vishy has started playing chess with her mother at the age of six and then he played in several different national levels and then won the International masters at the age of 15 and became the first Asian to achieve these feet. He has been crowned 6 times Chess Oscar title and won India’s most prestigious awards such has Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award, Padma Shri, Padma Vibhusan, Padma Bhushan and Arjuna Award. He was the only sportsperson in India to get all of those main Awards. Vishwanathan Anand plays chess rapidly and with great accuracy and he rarely get makes faults. The way of playing rapidly makes him more dominant while playing with his opponent. Vishy’s greatest opponents are Anatoly Karpov and Gary Kasparov who are believed to be World class players

Yelena Gadzhievna Isinbayeva, the gift of Russian country, was born on June 3^rd 1982 in Volgograd, is believed to be the best ever pole vaulter in the world and she has currently holding the record for the longest pole vault of about 5.05 m. She has won gold metals in two of those consecutive Olympics held in 2004 and 2008 and she has been crowned seven times in other major championships. Her pole vault record first set was 4.82 m in England at World Championship in the year 2003 and she goes on to increase her own record in every year and she finally set a new record of about 5.05 m in Beijing Olympics in 2008 and she still believes to set a new record in the upcoming events. Isinbayeva was declared best female athlete of the year twice by International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) in the year 2004 and 2005.Eventhough the athlete is 26 years of as of now, she still believes that she can make it till 2013 world championships going to be held in Russia. This pole vaulter has inspired many young athletes and as set as role model for many upcoming female pole vaulters.
