The home of last season winners Deccan Chargers, Hyderabad, will not host any of those IPL matches this season due to the sporadic violence that has sparked the outrage in the state has forced the IPL chairman to take the decision. Previously the first match of the tournament was shifted to Mumbai due to under preparation of Hyderabad ground. Then the six game remaining games have been spitted with 2 games in Vizag and 4 games in Hyderbad. Now with those issues, Lalit Modi has decided to change to change the venue and he has distributed those matches between Mumbai and Nagpur. Now the IPL tournament opener match will be held in Mumbai DY Patil stadium on March 12^th. The next three games of chargers will be played in March 19^th, 21^st and 28^th. The remaining three matches will be held in Mumbai DY Patil stadium on 5^th, 10th and 12^th of April. Due to the announcement of shifting venues, the Hyderabad fans become disappointed.

In the mean time, the Indian All rounder Ravidra Jadeja was banned from IPL for one year following Jadeja failed to sign the contract. His contract has been extended for the next two years for 20 lakhs, but Jadeja thought he might have been picked for a higher money by another franchise and so he dint sign the contract which led to the breaking of IPL rules and so he was banned from IPL for one year.

The host Indian team is currently under extreme pressure as they all set to face the mighty South Africans in their second test of the Jaypee Infratech Cup to be held in Kolkata on Sunday.  Having lost the key players Dravid, Laxman , Yuvraj, with Rohit Sharma being injured in the practice just before the play has begun, the Indian batting order looked extremely vulnerable and went clueless against the pace bowling attack of Steyn and Morkel as they suffered an innings defeat against the number two team. Now the South Africans are in the driver seat and they are confident of clinching the number one spot in the ICC ranking as they even hold onto a draw in the second test.

But the only consolation to the Indian team is that the middle order batsmen Laxman, who made 281 runs on the same venue against the mighty Australians, is likely to play in this match. Also the selection of Raina and Dinesh Karthik in place of Wriddiman Saha might boost the batting line up. Harbhajan Singh might be rested in the second test due to its lack of taking wickets. Now no matter the team selection on the second test, Indian team has to come good in the second test and square the series to retain their ICC number one test squad.

Lebron James scored 32 points and 13 assists and helped his team had an easy outing against Orlando Magic as they beat them comfortably a margin of 115-106. This victory against the Orland Magic also registered their 13th straight victory of Cavaliers and also their second win in their two consecutive head to head meetings in this season. Lebron James played a major role in this last quarter as he scored 7 quick points in final three minutes. Cavs defend came good in the fourth quarter as Orlando Magic went scoreless in the five minutes which helped the Cavs to bounce back from a two point deficit to a lead of 105-98. Shaquille O Neal was on the bench most of the time for his foul trouble, which made Cleveland Cavs depend on James and he delivered it well. O Neal managed to score only 10 points and 6 rebounds while J.J Hickson scored 20 points and Varejao had 16 points. For Orlando, Dwight Howard who also struggled with fouls like O Neal managed to net only 19 pints and had 11 rebounds.
